I like this house very much. The renovation is smart and sensible...even the powder room on the first floor. In the Historic District it would probably get over a million.

The houses look lovely but I wish there were more interior shots to get me more worked up.

The PLG Lefferts Manor tour was a very good one this year. And while all the homes were lovely my absolute favorite was the Maple II Axel Hedman home with the stunning modern interior. This home was so well put together it blew me away. I think the owner said the home was featured in Architectural Digest last year.

The Sterling Street home was adorable and the Midwood I house was also nice but perhaps a bit fancy for my taste. All the people were pleasant and overall, I'd say it was a fun day. I think the pictures Bob Marvin took reflect just that.

We also looked in other neighborhoods north and south of PLG. However, our friends in Lefferts Manor convinced us that it would be worth our investment so we ended up buying a very lovely home in the Manor. At the time when we were looking, we were less concerned about schools and amenities (or the strip along Flatbush Avenue). Nonetheless, we are now very excited to hear about the new Charter School opening next year. This is change. This is change within a few short months of living in a neighborhood where each day we are loving the vibe more and more.

Enduro is a great place to just hang out...and sip on margaritas, of course. As for the food, stick with what you really like. The service is professional and if you really want the scoop visit Linda and Dan at the bar for up-to-the-minute happenings.

I'm intrigued by the single family ruling and would do almost anything to own one of those beautiful homes in LM.

It's a nice place but I don't know that it's extraordinary. The architectural clean lines flow nicely but for me it definitely lacks the wow factor...sorry.

This building is currently a complete horror but I think there are still ways to aesthetically improve its look e.g. using historical paint colors for the cornice and trim. They should also definitely consider replacing the eaves and front door with something more historically correct.

My husband and I (plus baby daughter) will be moving to LM soon and we love the neighborhood. If this house was around when we were looking we might have considered it because it does seem to be in good condition. Our house a couple of blocks south of there needs alot of work. Also, welooked in other neighborhoods north and south of Lefferts and the vibe just wasn't the same.

What a lovely feature! This is also an ingenious way to share the history of each neighborhood up close and personal, especially those hoods unfamiliar to some of us.
