A friend of ours did some work recently for a couple that was featured in the NY Times. Unfortunately, his name wasn't mentioned! We just wanted to pass his info along. He's referenced in the article as well. He does phenomenal woodwork

He can be reached via email.

Looking for old Floorboards.

Does anyone have any floorboard that they are interested in parting with? I need some to redo my first floor, some of the wood rotted out and I don't want to put down plywood.

Does anyone know a good person for running cable, telephone and computer wire through a house?

I'm looking for someone (dependable!!!) to run cable and telephone wire throughout the house. The problem is that I can't find anyone reliable for the work! Please help!

I can't believe they're putting this in place of My Little India. I'm so disappointed. My Little India was a fantastic place with great furniture. Sigh...gentrification....

I think it's terrific if you're hungry. The meat is okay but the sides leave much to be desired. The mac and cheese is tasteless and so is the potato salad.

You should try Patrick Holohan, "Gil" for short. He's a terrific carpenter and a gentleman. He can be reached via email at gilholohan@hotmail.com or 917-586-9800

It's not normal at all. If you are being charged for a one time consultation, get out as fast as you can. The contractor, architect dialog always starts off with a conversation before a business relationship is formed. If they're charging for that initial conversation either they're too pricey or not worth your time
