Brooklyn Butler makes a good point about elevations. J Condo is pretty far up the slope of DUMBO (Beacon is higher though) and in the graphic, even at the same level Dock St looks okay in comparison. So if J Condo is so much bigger plus higher up, then I don't see why there is all this fuss about Dock Street. Is it really just the view to the bridge itself?

i love this feature. it is one of the best things on brownstoner.

i really wish those who didn't like it would just skip it. almost everyone i know who reads brownstoner loves inside third and bond. it's well written and interesting.

It doesn't make economic sense for such a small building to go after LEED. By the time they hire a consultant, even if NYSERDA pays them back via a grant, and do all the paperwork, even the reduced work required for LEED for Homes, it is still way too much work just for a plaque.

People who care about green should be able to see the smart green choices this developer made without needing the LEED branding.

Great infill project, and green at a decent price point. Nice work.
