What’s great about a Bathroom Bidet Sprayer? It's great because it let's you win. With a Bathroom Bidet Sprayer you win in so many ways if it was a woman I’d marry it. First off you win by saving money and what in these times is better than that, well ok a bailout may be better but get in line. With these you almost don't need toilet paper anymore. By almost eliminating the need for toilet paper the savings are immediate and long lasting. Not saying you have to give up toilet paper, you can still use it and even buy the soft stuff without feeling guilty because you will be using so little. Next you win by giving yourself some healthy side benefits namely a lessening of hemorrhoids, should you have them, and the virtual elimination of rectal itch. Now we move onto the fact that you are helping the environment by lowering the amount of toilet paper used and therefore manufactured which saves water, electricity, and pollution. Now there is the hygiene factor and unless you think wiping your hands off with a dry paper towel is cleaner than washing them then you get the point. I think Dr. Oz on Oprah said it best: "if you had pee or poop on your hand, you wouldn't wipe it off with paper, would you? You'd wash it off" There is the convenience of having such a handy means of washing up with after which at times, say after that big burrito you had at lunch, can get a might messy. That is the main reason why stand alone conventional bidets were invented but they are too expensive and don’t even work as well as the Hand Bidet Sprayer. Lastly there is the least practical but potentially the most influential reason of all……it just feels good. Cleaner, fresher, rejuvenating even. Can you imagine not brushing you teeth after a big meal? I can’t, and I can’t imagine just wiping with dry toilet paper and leaving it at that.....shudder. This is the best thing since the toilet was invented, give it a try. www.bathroomsprayers.com

One of the least expensive, yet immediately saves you money, home improvements is a bathroom bidet sprayer. The ultimate bathroom retreat is not complete without a bidet or better yet....the hand bathroom bidet sprayer. The hand sprayer gives you superior control and water volume and if the bathroom was not designed to allow for a bidet(the majority of them) it offers the convenience of installation on the existing toilet AND you don't have to get up and move every time! You will pay for it many times over in toilet paper savings. Available at www.bathroomsprayers.com.

Greenwoody,
I'm also looking for a reputable tile guy to do the floor in my bathroom. Did you decide to go with the recommendation from this exchange? Would love to know if it worked out-
thanks

My husband remodeled our small bathroom by himself. It took him a month; some contractors gave us 2 weeks estimate(including demolition).
All material including tiles (floor + walls) + toilet + glass vanity + shower cabin was total $6000
Our bathroom picture is here: http://www.all-bathroom-vanities.com/mosivaseclan.html
Regarding to clean line of vanities I love this line: http://www.all-bathroom-vanities.com/dosiva.html

I think 10k will be required for both materials and labour cost.

Cultural note: If you grew up with a bidet, it feels pretty gross and unclean not to use one regardless of your class or fanciness.

I'm actually having a Toto washlet installed as part of my bathroom reno. Toto has a gallery in Soho - you can't try one there but you can see all the models. I ended up purchasing a low-water Toto toilet for ~$300, and a compatible washlet for about $800.

Jeff9, the sprayer is hooked up to cold water only. That seems less than ideal.

A hand held bathroom bidet sprayer is so much better than a stand alone bidet or bidet seat and this is why:1. It's less expensive (potentially allot less) 2. You can install in yourself = no plumber expense 3. It works better by providing more control of where the water spray goes and a greater volume of water flow. 4. It requires no electricity and there are few things that can go wrong with it. 5. It doesn't take up any more space, many bathrooms don't have room for a stand alone bidet. 6. You don’t have to get up and move from the toilet to the bidet which can be rather awkward at times to say the least.
