where to buy cap mouldings for beadboard

I'm looking for a place to buy cap mouldings for beadboard I've installed. I bought the beadboard at Dykes Lumber, but the only cap moulding they sell is pretty bulky, and I'm looking for something that would sit more flush to the beadboard/wall. Anyplace besides Dykes in the city to go for this and/or online for that matter? Thanks in advance!!

Finishing Carpenter recs?

I am looking for someone to take care of a variety of things, including installing mouldings, hanging doors, etc. Anyone have a good experience with someone you'd like to recommend?

Thanks!

Hinges and Latches -- where to buy?

I would like to duplicate the look of some kitchen cabinets from an old farmhouse upstate.

Anyone have any leads on a good place to go to find vintage and/or vintage-looking hinges/latches or at least a good selection of these types of things?

Ideally I wouldn't have to special order as I will need to get this done fairly soon.

Thanks for your input!

Windsor Terrace Rental Prices

Anyone have any idea on how much a renovated 650-sq ft 1 bedroom rental with garden access might go for in Windsor Terrace? A few blocks from the park and close to the Ft Hamilton subway. I am just looking for a ballpark figure...

Thanks in advance!

I got my tested through:

The directions were easy to follow and the results came back fairly quickly.

Good luck!

I bought my tiles at Nemo Tile -- flat white hex and subway. What I liked about them was that they always had everything in stock so there was never any waiting around!

Try Aiden from Emerald Furniture, he recently duplicated the following door for a beautiful corner brownstone home in Cobble Hill....

I have a unique perspective on both comments above. We purchased our doors from Old Good Things, they were previously from Argentina, and then I had Omar from Artistic Woodcrafts restore them and build the door surrounds. He did an amazing job. You can see them for yourself at 395 6th Avenue, between 6th and 7th streets. They have only been up for a couple of weeks, but I have had 3 or 4 people knock and ask where they came from.

there's hundreds of tile stores in the new york area, most could get this for you

Nemo doesn't sell the completely flat tile. They only sell the slightly eased edge style. It depends upon how much of a stickler you are about details vs. price point.

If you dont care about it being completely flat, subway tiles are very cheap and can be found at any tile supplier.
