Nice looking place, but in my opinion it's not worth more than $500,000 at the moment.

Having sampled nearly every BBQ place in the City, I can say that Fette Sau is about avg--right in the meaty part of the bell curve. Decent pulled pork and beef ribs, the pork belly was pretty much a BBQed hunk of fat. Good beans, the rest of the sides were barely edible.
I'd recommend it if the location is convenient for you. Otherwise, head to Dinosaur for the best BBQ in NYC fo sho.
I agree that this is way overpriced. I guess the owner wants to start the bidding high. Aside from the floors I don't really like this place at all...
