This Adossa character is a lightweight. The only people who will vote for her are the ones who were stupid enough to buy all the populist crap that Ratner spewed with Atlantic Yards on the first goround. At this point, most people in FG and CH are smarter than that. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, won't get fooled again."

I don't think that's looking like a great move on her part at this point!

That's way too much for this location in this market, I think.

Agreed, I think it's amazing what the Walentases have done, it's just not the same thing as an anonymous donation to Unicef, that's all!

It's almost always one owner who rents the second unit out.

If they've already sold most of the units, why not really price these low, get them sold and call it a day. It's not like prices are going up anytime soon.

Likewise, A Guest, why is there an outpouring of sympathy for a poor person who is displaced by a middle-class gentrifier, but none for the middle-class person who is forced out of his/her neighborhood by bankers and foreigners?

I'm too lazy to try to do the math, but can 6E really be that much bigger than 3D?

I admittedly don't know that much about AY but I just don't see how anything of this size goes forward in this economic environment.

This is not my favorite restaurant in the area by any means, but the pastas are generally reliable and don't break the bank.

Not unreasonable? I'd go as far as to say that it's a good deal. That's a lot of space and that neighborhood is only going to get better.

These antique gates are definitely worth more as gates than as scrap metal. I bet they're worth a few hundred bucks each.
