I washed my already too small duvet cover and now it seems like it shrunk some more!!!!! Am I not suppose to wash it. That's why I got a cotton one.

If I keep washing it I guess I can eventually use it as a pillow case.

FYI - I like a mustache, they tickle!

Biff, I didn't know you can dance. I thought you only knew how to drum.

The dance should be recreated at the next get together. Who's gonna volunteer?

I want the old 'historic' washing machines back!

Posted by: Expert Textpert at November 20, 2009 12:45 PM in response to Open Thread

7 True Words:
I officially hate High Efficiency washing machines!!

Last week, after a load of whites my partners undershirts still smelled like his deodorant. This week, I added baking soda to the detergent and it worked.

BUT...today, one of the loads came out sopping wet. And it figures it would be the load with my big bath towels!

Someone parked their car so it was in the middle of the meter, therefore taking up two metered spots. WHY?!?!?!?!

Why do realtors love to exaggerate?
Can you tell they annoy me. Yes, I had a bad experience.

Posted by: Expert Textpert at November 19, 2009 1:28 PM in response to Open Thread

I won't be surprised if this house is a lot nicer in person.
The photos are amateurish, but if you really look at them, they do show some nice details. The floor plan isn't bad either if you want a house with rental income. It looks to be a deep house.

"2 blocks to the Brooklyn Promenade with fantastic Manhattan views"

Another SHUT UP to the realtors.
Madeline & Gregory Williamson have you walked to the Promenade from Joralemon & Clinton???? Considering that the first southern entrance to the Promenade is on Remsen, oh, I'd say that's 4-1/2 blocks(I'm also counting the little strip between Pierrepont and the actual entrance).

"this unbelievable bright corner one bedroom apartment"

SHUT UP right NOW, Madeline & Gregory Williamson.
It's a Studio!!
I'm going to say it one more time. A room without windows CAN NOT be called a bedroom. Kapeesh!

"We were having sex and the moment of truth came. She said, "I just got pregnant."

Wow, not words a man wants to hear at that moment. She should have been discreet and said something like: "Oh, baby. It's in me now."

Posted by: Expert Textpert at November 19, 2009 12:13 PM in response to Open Thread

I know Snappy. But just the thought of having to go thru morning sickness, get fat and have your who-ha stretched beyond normal when it was a quickie is unacceptable to me.

Posted by: Expert Textpert at November 19, 2009 11:59 AM in response to Open Thread

"I prefer a little force."

I was thinking about that this morning.
If I ever get pregnant, I'd want the conception to be a time when it was really good, hot and heavy mind-blowing sex, not a quickie, wham bam thank you ma'am time.

Posted by: Expert Textpert at November 19, 2009 11:57 AM in response to Open Thread

Hang around me, Snappy. Every other word will have a raunchy connotation. But you gotta pay attention, I try to slip it in discreetly.

Agreed. Those stores are way too big.
