LOL! This place is next door to another joint that is for sale at about $200K less, iirc.

It is also on the track between the two 24hr deli WINDOWS (no one would dare stay open 24hrs on that block - or in red hook in general). Nice foot traffic out front at 2am...

My first and last experience their went like this: Come in, sit down. Place is empty, but it is is a little early - one other table seated. Before I even have my jacket off, the waitress is trying to take our order. Manage to fend her off as we (party of two) get seated. Order a beer. Another couple sits down. We order one pizza to share. Beer takes forever to arrive. Our pizza, however, is cooked quickly, and promptly delived to our new table neighbors. They are just kind of looking at it. It sits there for about 3-4 minutes. Waitress finally realizes (I was pretty sure that was our pie, but, how do I know?), and without saying a word just takes it from the stranger' table and places it on ours and walks off. Pizza was about as good as the service. I would not recommend the place to anyone.

These are, as other have noted, a joke. Much like the referenced monstrocities on Wolcott Street, these two are directly across the street from the Red Hook Houses. The rest of the block, between Richards and King, is half residential and half M-zoned buildings, and all are in pretty bad shape - overgrown lots with abandoned houses, dilapidated warehouses, etc. Red Hook rents are not exactly soaring either, so I am not sure how you make an investment of it, let alone loosen the purse strings to the tune of $1.3MM. Exspecailly now. Especially in Red Hook.
