Renting Your Place for Movie

Any advice for renting out a co-op apartment to a movie production company? Any warnings? For less than a week of shooting, any sense of the range of fees?
Does the co-op usually get a separate payment?

Thanks!

aj: I used to own in a pre-1900 building and we were always being cited for things that had already been grandfathered in by DOB itself! The co-op still had to fight to get the violations dismissed though.

Anyway, you made me curious so I checked it out. Most of the violations are between 5 and 30 years old. What does a 30 year old "active" violation mean? I think it also has to do with building size. This building is big for that timeframe.

In general, is it naive not to check violations when you're buying? I sure didn't do it on my current building - until now, and we have more!! (but also going way back, phew :)

OP here: Thanks so much for all the knowledgeable comments. If this happens, I will report back.
