MrShaw... I think I might know your family. We lived in 130 3rd avenue. Did your family live in wycoff building 185? Do you have a brother named Robert?
Either way he is telling the truth about Gowanus and Wycoff projects area. I grew up there too from the 80's and saw it all. When shooting starts you can see the police cars all drive away from the project and then they come back in about 15 minutes after the shooting is over. Ive seen kids ages 13 running around there with guns and shooting them in the parking lot. At times its like the wild west as if cops or the fear of police doesnt exist. I dont feel police should only protect people's lives because of the color of their skin but in a sense that is what occurs all over Brooklyn. Its always been that way and still is. Anyways as it always seems, they wont do anything about the problem until it affects white people and by then its too little too late.
