Getting Tired of the Posting Delays?

taking a straw poll here of whether or not you all think that these delays in postings hitting the threads is starting to bore you, annoy you or make you lose interest in brownstoner. I'll have to abmit, this site is oftentimes my drug of choice during the lulls at waork instead of Solitaire, sudoku and any other surfing.

Secondly, why are you asking the What????

Its a very, very small world out there in cyberspace, Biff. i found that out the hard way as I alluded to above!!!!

Posted by: Bold type guest at March 13, 2009 4:01 PM in response to Open Thread

I think I was the first one to ever do this, except for the What when he got booted. I want a stop to it now, I'm telling you.

I don't think people should use more than one login

That's because I am not Dave. I am an anthropomorhism of his 1905 brownstone.

However I too like hot cops. And firemen. But mostly Marines.

Risen from the ashes of the Faded Type Wars, I will of course be there.

I think that people who create a second log-in for the sole purpose of hiding behind it when bashing others are cowardly.

Who were you logged in as when bxgrl apparently verbally castrated you!!!!????

You used to be able to look into the windows of those apartments when you flew into Hong Kong using the old Kai Tak airport. Most interesting landing in the world!!!

Dave...you going to that Gay Rodeo the What was talking about on Friday???

Posted by: Bold type guest at August 11, 2008 9:31 AM in response to Monday Links

I'm not Dave.....if you look at my profile I'm actually Dave's 1905-built brownstone posting "anthropomorphically."

I think its terrible when someone has a sockpuppet. However it does usually kick start the posts when it's discovered!!!!!

"Call in this debt" 12:38?? Sounds like something the What would say

LOL Guest Poster...be careful what you wish for. A lot of the crazies on here go berserk when they find out you're doing this.

It was a real circus when I slipped and posted as BTG when I was commenting to something that was directed to DIBS.

Anyway, my "fake registered login" is better than yours na na na na na. LOL

This will be fun come Monday

So I'm not a loser too?? Boy, am I glad to hear that. I bet dave and Biff are really hurt that all you people have called them losers. Especially when that's all you really are able to do...call people losers on a blog.

Pathetic.

Many of us are doing quite fine thank you. Who's the moron??? You didn't even understand what I was writing about. Get back to watching your TV show.

Man that's some pic 4:34. Hyenas & baboons!! What city is that??

Posted by: Bold type guest at June 18, 2008 4:37 PM in response to Enough With the Marauding Teenagers!

How about those confrontations that we all have with two or three stroller moms? Its not only when they come up behind you but even when you're facing them head-on they raise your blood pressure to the boiling point.

The entitlement of these white women with their $600- 1,200 strollers is what makes people sorry they evr learned of brooklyn...especially Park Slope!

Posted by: Bold type guest at June 18, 2008 4:28 PM in response to Enough With the Marauding Teenagers!

1. Isolate the circuits to the room
2. Are they 15 amp or 20 amp?
3. Is it new metal clad BX conduit or the old cloth-wrapped stuff? If its the latter, 4:02 is right.
4. What else will you be running on the circuit that the A/C outlet is one?? If its just a lamp or 2 you're OK.

Posted by: Bold type guest at June 18, 2008 4:20 PM in response to Electric circuits per room

Brooklynnative...on that we agree.

Posted by: Bold type guest at June 18, 2008 4:06 PM in response to Enough With the Marauding Teenagers!

I agree with the comments that the UES is drop dead boring...BUT that's where the BEST townhouses are. And, its quiet, which means boring to most people.. You can go anywhere, at anytime of the day in NYC for noise.

Bullshit....if you could afford a brownstone on the UES you'd live there in a heartbeat over Brooklyn

better add H & M to that list 11:22

sorry...correction..a brick building...lest I get jumped upon. However, on the architectural details, those marble lintels are fantastic

2:31 & 2:45...that's a Coupe deVille. I think the owner of a brownstone of this calibre deserves a Brougham...like the one the father owned in Moonstruck.

12:14...i guess you're right. The quality of the construction is quite obvious; inside and out, from the renderings we see here.

Vopycat The What..

First of all, get a life of your own. Your copycat moniker is in a class of two; the other one being serial killers

Secondly, I'd say you have co clue about the corollaries with the 1991 recession

i was wondering when bxgrl's fan club would get out of bed

Posted by: Bold type guest at June 17, 2008 12:30 PM in response to Tuesday Links

12:17 does that mean there's still more money to be made in renovating brownstones in this environment than in selling drugs???

The What feel free to chime in here on this question.

Posted by: Bold type guest at June 17, 2008 12:25 PM in response to Last Week's Biggest Sales

You can stick your foot through Dryvit.

I can't believe this thing is stone. Perhaps the first floor only? That'd be fine.

No bxgrl, they weren't accomplises. It's akin to kidnapping.

This is why the House of Detention needs to reopen. As times get harder (read The What), these petty larceny crimes will skyrocket.

I just wonder what happened to the lobsters? Were they put back into the freezer after being down Raymundo's pants and inside his bandages??

Warning not to order the lobster tails at Juniors for the next couple of weeks.
