Yes, I'm definitely new to the Brownstoner message boards (I'm sorry about the multiple posts).

I figured that they were probably in the Hasidic section of Williamsburg, since they look very similar to the already constructed condo buildings. If there is a religious significance to the architecture, then I also apologize for my first comment.

I was also referring more to the condos going up quickly in my neighborhood (I live in Boerum Hill) and on Fourth Avenue. There just doesn't seem to be good home architecture anymore.

It's so depressing to see such ugly architecture being built in the city. The suburbs have McMansions, but we have McCondos.
