Brownstoner always features Joan Goldberg's listings. Often several times over. I wonder what's up with that?

This house has been on the market for well over a year. It is way overpriced. I wonder why BROWNSTONER never mentioned that it has been on the market since 6/07 and a price drop in March, 2008. Bad journalism or something else going on here?

I have seen the house. First it has no yard to speak of. rear of house is dark. totally wrong renovations. built-ins don't work. generally it just has a bad feel to it.

Prices have doubl in just a few years. A price correction, even without a recession, is inevitable. A buying frenzy was created by these insane increases. If the increases go away, the frenzy abates.

I have owned brownstones for over 20 years. Sometimes, for several years no mice, some times a really bad infestation. No idea why.

Seems as if the Broker is going all out trying to peddle this thing. Fancy copy but I wish she's stop referring to the garage as a carriage house. Just adds to the sleaze.

It's a lovely house just priced way too high [even in a Bull market] for Cobble Hill. It is about location. How would it even appraise?
