I love egg's brunch! The wait is completely insane on the weekends, and they also have a ridiculous wait system where you sign yourself up, but the maitre d' roughly goes through the list and your name can be easily missed. the eggs rothko made it worth it, but don't think i'll be going on a weekend anytime soon.

Maybe I'm wrong- but I thought there already were 2 CSAs in Fort Greene- the Fort Greene CSA with pickups at the NE corner of the park and the Greene Harvest CSA with pickups at Habana Outpost.

had a great dinner here - fried broccoli was fantastic, as was the roasted chicken entree with brussel sprouts. i really liked the ambiance, a great addition to the neighborhood. it would be great if the menu had a few more options so that i could go there more frequently. the bar area tends to get extremely crowded throughout the week. i need to try brunch next!

While the waits can be frustrating, Choice is the best breakfast/lunch option in the neighborhood. Sounds silly, but their oatmeal is amazing! Prices are reasonable for such well prepared and fresh food. It's great on a warm day when you can sit on the benches outside. Also- I am so glad they brought Choice Greene to the neighborhood- definitely need for their high quality produce, meats, and cheese.

this would be a great addition to the neighborhood!

I've only ever been here for brunch. The first time I went I just stumbled upon it and wasn't that impressed. About a year later I went back and thought my meal was fantastic! Everyone I was with also enjoyed their dish. The friendly environment is an additional plus.

While the wait is long, it's entirely worth it. They will even take you phone number and call you when your table is ready. The ambiance is great, perfect for a date and the food is fantastic. I second the ravioli recommendation.

What about the old Cellars spot on Dekalb? That has been empty for 2 years already. Does anyone know whats going on with it?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but DuMont (and DuMont Burger) has one of the best mac and cheese dishes in the city. Wasn't too impressed with the rest of the menu, but do enjoy going DuMont burger for their burgers and sandwiches. Yet, the outside garden is one of the best spots in Williamsburg.

I've been here several times for both lunch and dinner. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is reliably great!

I went for Brooklyn restaurant week. Our waitress forgot our cheese plate (she didn't charge us), which was for the best because we were so full from the rest of the meal! Couldn't get a reservation until 10pm, yet it was totally empty when we got there. The service is definitely laid back which is fitting for the casual environment. I highly recommend it as a great neighborhood spot.
