You're going to trust these kids in your backyard. Such white guilt you people have.

I'm just kidding of course.

There's been a few of these programs around the country that have been very successful.

More like Bust a flow.

I love upstate new york. With the exception of Albany, I would not want to live in a major city there. I would rather live out in the country, perhaps around the Finger Lakes, a remote area in the Catskills, or the Adirondacks.

I'm just guy who grew up in Brooklyn and Long Island and I know that Upstate is great. However its small cities will suck the life out of you. I spent five years going to school in the foothills of the Adirondacks. It was amazing and if I had the chance to go back and live, I would. But I'm talking about Buffalo. Upstate's small cities leave much to be desired.

Have any of you yuppies been to Utica? I'm sure it would give you nightmares. The one about Utica is that it does exceptional Italian food. It's the Bensonhurst of Upstate.

i would only buy one of those houses on lefferts ave if it was between rogers and bedford. the block isn't as nice between rogers and nostrand. there's a lot more trees on the west side of rogers.

still, it's a great neighborhood. sterling, the block above is even nicer. for strange reason, sterling between rogers and flatbush isn't part of the historical perimeter.

biggest gimmick and rip-off going.

you're better off going up to city island for seafood.

Do people forget or they simply not aware that many suburban towns in New York (particularly on Long Island) have always been slums. All one needs to do is take a trip out to places like Mastic Beach also know as Mistake Beach, Wyndanch, Roosevelt, Central Islip, and North Amityville.

Fortunately enough, downtown Bay Shore, which has resembled a ghetto as long as I can remember, has gentrified. There's been plenty of fancy restaurants, bars, and boutiques going up. This is only because Bay Shore has the Fire Island ferries.

Nonetheless, Long Island isn't your traditional suburb in the sense that it is not a leech of its nearby metropolis.
