We have one in our back yard and it works great. Without it, it would be impossible to sit there for even a few moments. Placement is key, I think. Re: Anon 11.40: ours was also chewed on by a squirrel, and we had to send it back for repair. They replaced the chewed up line with one that was steel braided.

I think you should keep the login. It was really frustrating to sort through so much troll nonsense and many times, the useless comments sidetracked legitimate, interesting discussions.

Don't know much about the market right now, but I can offer that a 4-storey on Macon Street in Bed Stuy (same cross streets as the Halsey house) just sold for $900k. That said, I have no other details so it may not be germane to this listing, although I do think Halsey is a bit overpriced for a 3-storey.

Ducklings rock!! Hancock1 is right; find a wildlife rehabilitator. I know that Robert Zink, listed in the link Hancock1 provides, has a great reputation in this respect. (I'm sure the others are just as competent but I don't personally know of them.) Zoos and animal control don't consider wild animals under their aegis, while a wildlife rehabilitator specializes in these types of cases. I know, as I rescued an injured bird at a Yankees/Sox game in Yankee stadium (named him "Jeter")and couldn't find anyone to take him until someone recommended a rehabilitator. She took him in, fixed him up, and set him free. Go Jeter. Go Yanks.
