Edible, but that's about it. Why this place stays in business is beyond me... must be people from neighborhoods that have no selection of decent restaurants.
Yummy Taco on Flatbush is great. I'm super ultra bummed that the South Slope location doesn't have bean curd. Bean curd burritos are the only thing I order. Why be a ChinaMex joint if you don't have bean curd?!?!

I'm sorry, but I refuse to buy ANY apartment that is labeled "sundrenched". That phrase/word should be banned from all real estate ads, together with "sun soaked".

Sure looked blue to me when I drove by earlier today.
The stucco job is terrible... looks really uneven and patchy. The rounded "bay window" structure on the upper floors facing south is pretty horrendous also.
That said, when we were looking for a new place we took a look at this bldg. The price was decent for 3 bdrms, but the layouts were a little off. Nothing terrible, but the location is what really turned us off. Fourth Ave is improving, but traffic noise will always be a problem and I'm just not crazy about Gowanus: "Oh yea, you'll know you're near our place when you pass the big Superfund cleanup site"

Oh man... I live in a South Slope stucco special and I can say that this stucco job takes the cake. Granted, the sun might be hitting it at a high angle, but it looks really, really uneven and wonky. I'd be pretty pissed if I bought in that building. The prices for 3 bdrms were decent, but the location is eh and now the finished product is doubleplus-eh (yes, I just watched 1984).

That dining area is seriously claustrophobia-inducing.

Someone at their office has an impressive command of Google SketchUp.

I actually think this building is really well-designed. You've posted just about the most skillfully-cropped photo imaginable... the architectural details are pretty decent, IMHO. I'll try to grab a photo from the cemetery and will send it to B'stoner.
