Yeah, I don't get it either. I've checked out both as well. The room sizes in the units at both buildings are almost identical but the Toren claims to have larger overall units and that brings their price per square foot down. Its like they're manipulating the unit sizes or something because the apartments are the same sizes for sure. be@'s location definitely gives it an advantage to me. i'd hate to walk right out onto flatbush every morning and have a long walk to the subway.
