The little garage at 709 Sackett Street will become a contemporary-style two-family residential building with parking and an interior courtyard. Work starts up this week, according to developer Brooklyn Greenstone.  “In this neighborhood, a garage and a private courtyard are very rare features,” said Greenstone Chief Executive Officer Eitan Baron. “Of course anywhere in New York, parking is a great commodity.” The former commercial building will include a four-bedroom duplex and a four-bedroom triplex. It’s located between 4th and 5th avenues. Click through to the jump to see the new design.
