The residential conversion happening at the beautiful landmarked Offerman Building on the Fulton Street Mall remains a mystery to us. Owner Al Laboz has planned this conversion for many, many years. Interior demolition began the summer of 2011 with advertisements for the commercial space going up in early 2012. Signage went up along Duffield Street saying that the project should be finished by this summer, but no one returned our calls for more information. The interior, which is in terrible shape, still looks bad, at least on the ground floor level. You can check out a picture after the jump. Does anybody have information on the timeline, or the state of construction, over here?
