Man, Lefferts Place is having a big week. Construction started up at 76-90 Lefferts Place, the forever-empty lot between Classon and Grand Avenues. Earlier this month the DOB issued a new building permit at 76 Lefferts for a four-story, three-family building. As for the other six townhouses planned for the lot, the DOB approved building applications this January but have not yet issued new building permits. Each townhouse will be four stories and three units. This lot went to market in March, as far as we can tell from public records it never sold. The listing came with a rendering for a potential development here, but it’s unclear if that’s what’s going up now. The architect on record is Grasso Menziuso.
