I literally don’t give crap. Any suggestions?
The extra height would be a poor design because lower is better for the squat and removal of waste in the human body, but the elongated is more comfortable for men.
Im 5’8″ , Mr. Limestone is less than an inch taller than me and he prefers the “comfort height”. So Im not convinced its about height.
If you are planning to stay in the house until your golden years I can tell you the difference of a few inches when you have broken a hip is a big one i say go for long and oval to increase the handicap accessibility….
Long ‘n oval. Have to fit the goods.
Okay, so North Sloper is 5’6″ and needs a step stool for the ADA-approved toilets or, as we like to say here in Brooklyn, terlets. But I’m about a foot taller and some toilets make me feel like I’m on one of those little chairs I have to sit in during my parent-teacher conferences. So M/M Limestone, how tall are you?
elongated is nice, but higher is definitely not better. I am 5’6″ and need a step stool to sit on the ADA-apporved bowls. No thanks. bTW, definitely get the soft close lids – no more banging at 4 a.m.
