Staining Outdoor Tile?
Our backyard was tiled over by the last owner with these assertively terra cotta tiles, but we'd prefer something darker or more slate colored. Does anyone know of a way to stain or glaze tiles like these?

Tile Store?
Can anyone recommend a tile store that actually has a large selection of interesting mosaic and ceramic tile in stock? Just found out a I have to do a bathroom reno and can't wait the six weeks or so to custom order something but would like more selection than available at HD and Lowes. Many thanks!

Tile Installer
Anyone have any recommendations or someone they loved other than Rob Mara who seems to have disappeared? Hopefully nothing bad happened. Someone who has installed glass tiles, and whose work I can see? Thanks!

Tile/Grout Repair
Hi,
I'm looking for someone to do tile and grout repair to a shower stall that was installed about a year ago. The grout is cracking and tiles are popping off where water hits the tile the most.

Ceramic Tile Over Formica
I know you're probably not supposed to do it, but I'm having counters removed tomorrow and soapstone template made, then have only a day or so to deal with formica backsplash removal before the counters are put in. Everyone says formica's really hard to take off, and i don't have the know how to remove the backsplash wall and put new drywall there. Any suggestions for the easiest way for a not-so-handy person?

Ceramic Tiles' Bad Rap?
Ceramic tiles have long been a part of Italian history. Now it seems like people want porcelain even for wall tiles? The question is why! Porcelain tiles cost more for and nobody will walk on your wall. I still like the old style craftsmanship, an glaze of a good ceramic tile. Especially the handmade stuff

Price of Tiles High?
is $18 a sf high for carrera mosaic marble tiles? also $9 for marble subway tile
and 6 for procelin tiles it seemed absurdly high
