Woodstrippers around Park Slope
Good afternoon !
The woodwork in my appartment (mouldings, windows) has (as usual) been covered with layers of paint. I started to strip it myself but realizes that I don't have enough time. Would anyone recommend a good (and not to expensive) company that could give me first an estimate of the stripping cost ? Thanks, Julien

soda blasting interior brick?
I am planning a basement renovation and would like to have natural exposed brick walls, but they are currently painted. Has anyone had soda blasting done to interior brick walls to remove paint? If so can you recommend someone?

Wanted: Silent Paint Remover
Hello! We just closed on a house in Victorian Flatbush, and we have a lot of paint to strip! After reading all the posts here, we would like to try the silent paint remover ... but it is so expensive, and it seems like the effectiveness of the tool varies from house to house. We would like to test it out to see how well it works for our situation before spending so much money. Does anyone have an SPR that they would be willing to lend or rent to us? Where to have doors stripped?
So my buddy has a gorgeous home in PLG and is contemplating stripping the original 6 panel doors with a sander. I said why not send them out to be dipped? He said where? I said I don't know, I'll ask Brownstoner. So help me out folks, where does one have wood dipped?

I also forgot to mention that I am in Fort Greene, and the mantles are Marble. So if anyone knows anyone who does this please let me know.

About to begin stripping some wood work in my home, and I've decided to try Peel Away 7. This stuff is pricey! Any recommendations for the best place (best priced) to buy from? Thanks
(I'm not necessarily a cheappo, just trying to manage the budget)...
