Looking for a Tailor
I have a wedding to go to on Sunday and I need my suit adjusted. Can anyone recommend a tailor who can get the job done in a day? Anywhere around Park Slope, Bay Rigde, Sunset Park would be appreciated.
Bed Bugs
I moved into a apt in Mid May. Late June I discovered we had the bedbugs. The mgmt sent the exterminator- 5x later they are still here. Spoke with the blg mngr, he told me they had another apt I could move into that was clear of them. said OK. now they are renegging on it. Clothes were laundered and are in bags. been sleeping on an airmattress since june. Can I take them to court? What are my rights?

Dog Daycare
Not exactly a renovation/real estate question, but can anyone recommend a dog daycare in the Park Slope/Prospect Heights area? Our current place has webcams, which we really like and are hoping to find in a dog daycare in our new 'hood.

Someone's Using My Address
Apologies if this is a bit off topic, but it is a homeowner issue of sorts: for the past week we have been getting collection calls (some recorded, some live) from "Ed Fund" about a "federal financial matter. They're looking for a person who does not live here and never has... however, she just happens to have the same last name as we do. And today I got two Sallie Mae bills for her in the mail. What gives? Our number is unlisted, although in this day and age it's probably easy for a person to dig up our name, phone and address. According to Sallie Mae, "Ed Fund" is not affiliated with them. This is two separate agencies looking for this woman, one of whom has our phone and the other of whom has our address. Should I be worried about this? I guess it's not an identity theft issue unless someone's using my name, but it makes me nervous to have our address and phone erroneously linked to someone else (with the same last name!) by collections agencies, plural. Did these agencies just get their wires crossed somehow, or is Miss X doing this deliberately? Could this mess up our credit rating? Any suggestions for how to proceed?

Infestation
My tenant on the floor above me has some sort of mouse/rat/squirrel in the crawlspace/air vent. What to do? Who to call? What is least expensive but effective route towards getting rid of him and his posse?

Living in Red Hook.... Should I?
So, I may have an offer to live in a great place in Red Hook, but I'm a bit nervous about the whole subway public transportion situation.
