Good Plumbers in Bed Stuy
I was using Gateway Plumbing and just found out they changed their service area around 6 months ago.
I need a plumber who is good, fast to respond and ideally not Vigilante prices.
Any suggestions?

Fire Sprinklers?
Can anyone tell me what these two pipes are ....or why they just suddenly terminate in my 4th floor closet?
Basically they just poke out of the wall and dont connect to anything.
Are they important? can they be moved?

Sessa Plumbing...Diamond Club?
Ok so what the heck is up with having to pay a yearly fee to keep a plumbing company on "retainer"? Is Sessa THAT good???
I have never heard of this before and would like to know if anyone has signed up for it.
I used them to assess my house yesterday and was charged $300. I am happy because he found very little wrong and can easily rough in my downstairs sink's plumbing to convert it to a laundry area. The sales pitch by the techinician for this "club memebership" threw me off and we are not sure how to respond.

Basement blues...
So the heavy downpour on saturday caused a minor problem in the basement, a few gallons of water. Dadin't take long with the wet vac to pump it out. Yesterday afternoon I sat in the basement to watch where the water was coming from as another strom rollwed through. Seems that we have a back up from the water main. None of the neighbours have this issue.
Was going to call out one of the following companies and wanted to know if anyone had an opinion on either :
1) Sessa Plumbing
2) Python drain cleaning.
Also, if anyone has thoughts on how to curse water main backups I'd appreciate. I've seen mention of one way valves but not clear to me if they are the way to go or not.
Thanks.

Bklyn Plumber to Snake a Drain?
Hi!
I have a clogged train in my bathtub.
I have tried Drano and some industrial strength stuff the hardware store recommended but it only remedies the problem for a day or two. Is the next step to call a plumber to get the drain snaked? (Sorry, I know this might sound like an elementary question) If so, how big is the process and do you have anyone that is affordable and quick to recommend?
THANKS!

Recommend any plumbers for a basement bathroom installation?
Hi,
I'm in Gowanus/Park slope looking for recommendations for plumbers that are experienced with installing basement bathrooms. I've got a basement with a W/D and slop sink hooked up to a sewer ejector pump that works great, but would like to remove slop sink and install a small pedestal sink, toilet and shower stall. Anyone else done that or have a any experiences or contacts to share? We just had a kid and are in dire need for those facilities. Thanks in advance

Master Plumber
My wife and I just bought a 4 story brownstone in Bed Stuy. The house is in great shape, but I need to find a plumber that is skilled with kitchen renovations. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Gas Boiler replacement recommendations?
Hi All,
I have a three story brick stone in the Park Slope/Gowanus area and am looking for a recommendation for someone to replace my 25 year old gas hot water boiler. It still works like a champ, and heats the houses radiators up fine, but I am looking to be both more efficient and safe. Any detailed recommendations and/or experiences would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Brian

BlueWater Plumbing ?
I'm thinking of using Roger from Bluewater Plumbing to do the plumbing work for my renovated condo. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with him or the company?
Many thanks for any input.
