Tiling and Painting
I am looking for someone to skimcoat the kichen walls. Ceramic tile installed on the floor.
No crews or companies.
I prefer someone who knows both trades.

Perfectionist Painter
I posted this on Sunday or Monday and somehow it has disappeared; therefore, I am reposting it.
I am looking for a perfectionist painter who can handle old wood work and oil based paints. I am not looking for a merely competent painter. The work is on my parlor floor and I want an excellent painter as this is the premier floor in my brownstone.
In other areas, competent work is fine but not on the parlor.
Can anyone recommend someone?
Yellow With Wood
My living room/kitchen has lots of heavy, well-preserved walnut trim with burl detailing. It's in very good condition and I will never even consider painting it. The walls are another story. I'd like to go with a warm palette and would love to find the perfect golden, yellowish paint. I've found some that are close but haven't hit on the right one. Does anyone have a favorite, preferably Benjamin Moore, yellow? I thought Concord Ivory would be it but the wood made it look rather green..

Desperately seeking painter
I know this is a ridiculous question, but are there any regular posters on here who could recommend a painter?
I know four terrific guys -- they are all busy.
I am looking for a one-man operation (with helpers) who is fast, cheap, experienced, and neat. This is for next week in Bed Stuy.

Exterior Stoop painting
We are looking for someone who will patch and paint our stoop and rear fire escape in Cobble Hill and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for someone who would do such a job. THanks in advance.

Cast Iron Tub Paint
Apologies if this has been discussed before. I'm wondering if anyone has tips on what kind of paint to use in the exterior of a cast iron tub? Does it have to be special paint, or can you just use normal paint?
Thanks!

Looking for Advice on Painting
I have been quoted varying prices (from ~$7K to $30K) for the paint job of a classic six pre war apartment. The job does not include skim coating. Anybody have any thoughts/experience with painting costs?
Thanks,
