Wheel Chair Lift for donation
I currently have a wheel chair lift installed in the front of my condo. I am looking to donate it to someone who really needs it as I do not. If anyone is interested you will need to remove it and transport it as well. For more information you can email to richtress@aol.com

Anyone go to the "Vue" Open House This Weekend?
Hey Brownstoners - I went to the "Vue" Open House this weekend and aside from the shockingly high price tag, I found them to be decent in size and quality - especially on the upper floors with an amazing view.
Just wondering if anyone else had an opionion especially since I might actually consider an offer, but am wondering if maybe prices will drop a bit.
Thanks!

Condo listing @ 560 State
http://www.elliman.com/Listings.aspx?ListingID=913331&rentalperiod=&SearchType=newestproperties&Region=NYC
I saw this property @ 560 State (corner of Flatbush & State) 2 weeks ago. Nice apt & nice building. Price seems right @ $690k plus it's a condo. What does everyone think? Has anyone seen it? It abuts Atlantic Terminal & AY but area should be ripe for change as BAM will be building a dance theatre nearby. Thoughts?

Anyone seen this Park Slope studio?
There was a recent thread about studios in Park Slope and a couple of people had said they'd seen everything on the market. Anyone seen this 378 sq. ft. studio? Thoughts?

corcoran brokers must be stopped!
I just came a cross another travesty in pricing although I still can't quite believe my eyes. A new listing in Crown Heights North- 1230 Dean St. has been put on the market for-hold your hats- $1.65MM! Sure it's a 25 footer but c'mon people. This neighborhood is nowhere near ready to support that price point. Corcoran brokers yet again insist on attempting to vastly inflate prices (perhaps in an effort to get the original listing by blowing smoke up the owner's arse) in a neighborhood that, while on pace for nice change, is years away from drawing the folks with that kind of loot. At the end of the day, it winds up hurting the kind of positive progress needed to one day draw that kind of potential buyer because others will attempt to follow suit and houses will simply sit. Would you drop $1.65MM to live between Nostrand and New York??! Surely you jest! Somebody wake these folks from Corcoran up. It needs to stop now!

Windsor Terrace Listing
Hello all,
I'm looking to buy in the area and came across the following listing:
http://www.warrenlewis.com/cgi-bin/re/re_show.pl?re_command=show&ID=6163
When compared to other houses in the area, the $650K price seems like a bargain.
Has anyone seen this house? Does anyone have any info?
Thanks!

What's the best source for Brooklyn listings?
Is there any better source than the NYTimes online that collects and displays Brooklyn real estate listings. NYTimes has plenty of limitations but every other site I see is worse.

Dearth of brownstone listings
Any thoughts on the low brownstone inventory? I haven't seen many nice properties come on the market since before the summer. I'm sure the current market and mortgage crisis effects on Brooklyn nabes have to do with it, but when do you expect inventory to increase?

Anyone seen this house?
Just wondering if anyone had seen this house in Park Slope? It's been on the market for a while. I've tried to get an appointment to see it, but the person the realty referred me to does not answer his phone or return messages. Seems strange...anyone have the scoop on it?

60 St. Mark's Avenue Listing
Just wondering what people thought about this new listing in Park Slope, although isn't it really Prospect Heights? Would the construction chaos from AY affect your quality of life if you lived there? It seems kind of close to the construction site. It looks pretty nice on the inside, though, and it's a 1 family configuration.
