Furiture reupholster
We are in the process of decorating our new purchased townhouse with period antiques. We found this great sofa from the early 20th century that we desperately need reupholstered.
Can anyone recommend a well priced furniture reupholster in Brooklyn. I need to emphasize WELL PRICED after our recent purchase we don't have a whole lot of deposable income! :)

Chair caning
Does anyone have a recommendation/estimate for chair caning? If you have had a chair repaired, how much was it per hole? I have an estimate for 2.15 a hole which makes my repair more than 200.00 a chair. YIKES!
Thanks.

Corner cabinets for sale
We have a pair of vintage (from the 1940s) round corner cabinets for sale. These would look great in a traditional dining room (our isn't so traditional).
Asking $1200 for the two. Please see our Craigslist posting for more details, more pictures.

Sofa cleaning company?
Looking for recommendations for a company that can clean a sofa, and get out some heavy red wine stains, or at least lessen them. Thanks...

Leveling furniture on sloping floors
Our frame house is more than 130 years old. Naturally the floors slope a bit (in some cases, more than a bit). We have some pieces of furniture -- a sideboard, a few big chairs, a table -- that we want to level as much as we can. Has anyone come across a good product for this, perhaps small adjustable footings to tap into the bottom of table and chair legs? So far I have found these small white plastic shims, but they show too much and you have to place them again everytime you move the furniture. I haven't found anything else that is helpful. Anyone have this problem and how did you solve it?
