donating salvage items
I've heard there are a few places in town where you can donate architectural salvage items--nonprofit organizations that then sell the items and use the profits for good causes. Any info?
Thanks
Excellent salvage items for sale
We are in the process of renovating our Park Slope brownstone, and have a number of architectural salvage items we'd like to sell, including pier mirrors, period lighting fixtures, marble sinks, arched pair of parlor doors, clawfoot bathtub, and other items (e.g., new GE refrigerator, lawn furniture, medicine cabinets). All are in excellent condition, but are a bit extravagant for our tastes. We would like to find a nice home for the pieces, preferably someone interested in buying the items as a package. If interested, please email prlegendre@hotmail.com for more photos and to arrange an appointment.

Looking for interior door
Hello, I'm trying to find an interior door 30" wide by 91" tall. Tried Eddie and Olde Good Things without any luck. Thought I'd see if anyone had a door that might work lurking in the basement somewhere. Will gladly pay and pick up.
Thanks.

Salvage Yard in Queens near LGA?
Anybody know the name of the salvage place near the highway on the way to Laguardia Airport if coming from Upper Manhattan? A friend was describing its location to me and thought it might be a good source for finding a restored clawfoot tub at a reasonable price.

Cast iron double sink
Selling this cast iron porcelain sink with the original cast iron front support legs. Sink is in decent shape. Only did a quick clean. There are some stains from what looks like paint cans left in the deep basin. I have had good results cleaning other old porcelain sinks and tubs with "bar keepers friend". There is also a small chip in the porcelain in the front left corner. Asking what I paid, $200. OBO also applies, as I need to clear out my shop space. Thanks for looking.

Ceramic tiles - what to do?
I have 21 boxes of high end imported tile. Does anyone know of a company willing to take it off of my hands at a reduced cost? They're selling for $43.00 a sq ft. as opposed to the original $58.00 sq ft. I've placed an ad here and on craig's list any other suggestions?
Thanks!

seeking someone to remove mantel
Does anyone know of a person who can carefully remove a wood and tile mantel from my house?
I know it's sacrilege, but I don't care for the style and I'd rather it be enjoyed by someone who likes this sort of thing.
