Condo near Public Place

I'm looking at bidding on a a condo on Luquer St. near the Gowanus Public Place project. Do people think that the impact of living near a major brownfield remediation and construction site for 5 years has been properly factored into asking prices? Recent sales? Are we crazy to think about buying there at all?

Buying near Public Place

We're looking at a condo near Smith and Luquer -- right across from the Public Place site. How much of a discount should we factor into our pricing thoughts based on the hassle of living near a major brownfield remediation and construction project for the next 5 years? Are we crazy to bid at all? Are recent sales in the area -- Smith to Court, 5th to Huntington -- all including the impact of Public Place in their sale price? Thanks in advance for the input...
