Recommendation Phils Air
We recently had two mini-split aircontioners installed by Phils Air Conditioning and Heating. They did an amazing job and were extremely helpful with some tricky issues we had - even coming back two months later to change a pipe layout which didn't work with our new deck build.
Phil was very reasonably priced and his team was really a pleasure to work with.
The system they installed also did a wonderful job through August with far superior cooling with similar impact on our monthly electricity bill than previous window units.
For the interested we have two yard compressors with internal units on parlor and first (one above parlor) floor. Pipework was well disguised where visible by the finish guys who work with Phil.

Roof Top AC Noise
Can anybody recommend a sound engineer who could come up with a solution to noise generated by a large 2 fan roof top AC condenser. All fan noise no vibrations. My RadioShack meter says about 12Db increase when they're on. Not really a legal issue. Tenant has agreed to fix since it is the owner that is being annoyed.

Split Level A/C Cost for 2 Floors
how much is the averade cost for a mr slim type sysrem with 8 units? we hva gotten quotes of 15,000 to 20,000 is that right?

Need expert advice and "rough in" central A/C installer for a 3 family townhouse currently being majorly renovated and having a 20'x20' extension added.

Window A/C Storage?
Can anyone recommend a company that will store window unit air conditioners? One that is relatively inexpensive, preferably. The place we have used recently increased their prices to $250 per unit, which is almost as much as a new air conditioner!
