Furnace Malfunction?

Morning headaches during heating season. We have oil heat, have regular maintenance done on our furnace. Has anybody else had this problem? Any ideas for how to investigate? Thanks!

What problem? I don't see any problem here!

You might need a humidifier - a niece of mine had the same problem & a humidifier seems to've fixed it.

Do you have a CO detector?

Bob, that's a good point. Maybe flue is blocked or undersized, or some other kind of exhaust leak. Buy a CO detector and/or call your plumber.

Wow! Check the CO. This is potentially very dangerous.

Good ideas. I have a CO detector, but haven't checked it lately to see if working. Some of the people at my house don't drink at all but still have headaches. I will follow up on the CO idea. Thanks!

I can give you the name and email of an HVAC guy I've used in the past, you can get in touch with him to investigate, troubleshoot and solve the problem if its a heating issue. His name is Marlon and his email is HVACR007@gmail.com. Good Luck.

I called my HVAC guy and from his expertise, that sounds like a deadly CO problem. You need to address this ASAP. Good luck
