Doesn't pretty much every plumber in the older parts of Brooklyn fit this description? I use a really nice guy down the street from me in Bushwick who is quite reasonable and also Aladdin.

If you are specifically looking for old parts, Alfano Plumbing in Queens on Roosevelt Ave. in the 100s has a very large selection of new old parts and can suggest a workaround or machine anything you don't have for reasonable prices.
