exterior doorway wood finishing
Can anyone recommend someone to strip and refinish the exterior doorway frame area -- ours is very decorative, painted over a million times, and looks like it might have some rotting parts -- don't really know the best way to handle this. Hoping that it can still be saved. Any recommendations would be really appreciated!
also looking to find a front door, but that's for another post. thanks

I've just had mine done & it looks good. Suriesh camouflaged places where the wood had deteriorated & was very painstaking w/ the entire project. I got him on a recommendation from the mason who had done my facade. Tell him you got his name from the woman on Lincoln Place.

You may also want to try artistic wood crafts -- they do tons of doors. call Omar at --646-541-3409. They have done lots of work for me and I think very highly of them.
