Dryer repair recommendation?
Does anyone know of a good and reasonably priced technician for repairs on a washer/dryer? I struck out on Angie's List, found a few through Google, but I'd prefer to go with someone who comes recommended. To the extent it's relevant, the problem is a strong burning smell every time we use the dryer. I completely replaced the duct from the machine to the wall (which was admittedly totally clogged), but the problem did not abate, so I think it's time for a pro. Thanks in advance!

sounds like a friction/belt problem which forces the motor to overwork, aka burn out. I would not use it at all until you get a guy in there to look at it.

Look in the archives. I remember a few people had good recommendations. I haven't been happy w/ any I've used.

We've used Ro's Appliance Repair and have been happy with the work. 347-328-3043.
