Can I install one of these in US? Do they actually provide water at preset temperature?

I believe you can buy these as shower bodies.... they're called thermostatic mixing bodies.

In fact, they are pretty much the only ones sold now, by law I believe in some places.

I've used the Grohe thermostatic shower valve in over 20 applications and find it to be an excellent product - precise, long-wearing, and safe. Ed Kopel Architects.

I have a Grohe too & it's been fine for years.

I love my Hansgrohe shower/bath mixer. Definitely a great product, and great if you have young children.

We have both Thermostatic control valves & Pressure balance mixing valves (from Cifial). Both prevent dangerous temperature spikes (and at any given setting provide a reliable stream of virtually constant temp water) although I believe neither technology actually targets an absolute temperature (number F).
