Brownstone Contractor Needed
I need a REALLY Good brownstone contractor to redo my 5 story brownstone building. Need someone who understands masonry and materials, is a bit of an artist and has good crew that knows how to make straight lines.
I also need someone who's work will look good 5 or 10 years from now and not just for the first winter.
If you know anyone who is honest, has a good work ethic and is easy to work with please let me know.

You should definitely consider Michael Streaman of MRS Inc (718-832-5958). He completed our 4-story reno early this year and we are very happy with the results. Friends who recommended him are also very pleased. Z. Abedin is doing a fabulous job on my stoop right now - with a 15-year guarantee. He has a great crew but has been doing the finish work himself, and is certainly an artist. I found them to be an expert on the brownstones. i recommended them to few of my friends who also needs to have their facade/stoops restored. currently they are doing a project for a friend on Macon st. great, reasonably priced. with a guarantee. good luck

Shane Deary construction may be a good fit...His company has a natural knack for re-using existing materials and finding creative solutions to give use to every space. i know he recently finished a 4 story gut reno in bk in which he had to rebuild the entire back brick wall. He does much of the work himself which is nice. his number is 917 495-7120. I will mention that i have recommended him. good luck.
