Best sports bar in Brooklyn?

I think I would like to meet a friend at a lively and fun sports bar in Brownstone Brooklyn for the first game of the World Series tonight. Where can we find a giant screen and a friendly, fun crowd? I am wondering if I can get any ideas from my fellow brownstoners. Any favorites? Thanks!

200 Fifth

Ditto 200 Fifth. Horrible for quiet dining since they've become a sports bar, but damn, what a sports bar it is! Good variety of beer, plenty of tvs and the liveliest Yankee crowd in Brooklyn.

Third vote for 200 Fifth. It's very intense (you won't find more TVs in a single room outside of Circuit City) and a great time.

If you are not up for the huge scene at 200 Fifth. Johnny Macks on 8th Ave & 12th is a pretty good nieghborhood bar.

Mullane's on Lafayette in Fort Greene has a lot of screens and a nice crowd.

If you do decide on 200 Fifth, get there early as it is sure to be PACKED beyond belief.

Hmmm.... it sounds like 200 Fifth will be a nuthouse, which is good (or it might just be a short ride to Mullane's on Lafayette.) We'll check out 200 Fifth. Thanks a lot! Now it just has to stop raining.

Um, Circuit City went bankrupt and liquidated all of their stores over 6 months ago.

Otherwise a fine fine joke, Fawn.

I prefer the Dram Shop on 9th ave between 5th & 6th over 200 5th. Lots of TVs. Best burger. Good crowd.
