Good Stair Guys?
I just had my floors sanded and refinished, and I'm now looking for a stair company. I'm just looking for a basic oak staircase with oak spindles, but definately want someone who is attentive to detail and will give me a staircase I can be proud to have in my home. Any suggestions?

Hey there, I was very happy with the work done by Soxco (ask for Anton). 718 858 5991. They rebuilt my existing stairs from underneath, making a very bouncy staircase feel brand new again.

i would recommend bill for sure his price may be half the price he left me with a job half done also.
And ask me much more that the estimate he gave me .

Too bad, he did everything for me on time. He built a front door, a frame for an internal stained glass window, replaced my stairs in the main hallway, created a railing in my duplex for an internal staircase and made specialty millwork (moulding) for a kitchen. He did excellent work for me and many on this site have used him. Search brownstoner.

Bill did a great job for us as well. His quoted price remained the same, the job (replacing all treads and risers on one flight of stairs) was done is less than two days. He was very nice to work with….and we found him to be very honest…..
