Submitting an FSBO Offer

Hello!
We are interested in a property that is being sold FSBO. We have done our research and feel it's priced slightly high to comps. We were thinking it was fair to offer 10% off the asking price. But, how does one submit an offer to the seller of the property directly as it's an FSBO?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Call them and ask them how they'd prefer you to submit the offer. I don't think there's any hard and fast rule. I've made offers on apartments and houses with an e-mail, a form from the realtor and a phone call. The formality should start with the contract of sale.

You call them and say I'd like to make an offer. Same as anything else.

I don't think you have a choice. Submit it to the owner directly. You are allowed to make verbal offers in the state of New York but as Bess said, ask them how they would like it submitted.
