popcorn ceilings be gone!
Has anyone has their popcorn ceilings redone? If so, can you recommend someone?

My contractors, as part of a bigger project, got rid of this on the garden level. basically, they scraped it down with a garden scraper (ice scraper/chopper) and then sheetrocked over it. They did a nice job of marrying the edges of the rock to the original plaster moldings. They wouldn't take on a job this small though. It really looks great once that crap is gone!!!!
