No Fee Elevator Buildings?
I am trying to come with a list of buildings in Brooklyn heights and the surrounding areas for a relative who may be moving here in November for 8, maybe 9 months. Specifically, I'd like to find buildings where the property managers are directly negotiating with possible tenants and so can cut out the middleman on both fees and also back and forth on negotiating unusual length of lease terms.
I'm aware of the Archstone property on Montague, the Two Trees' Court House building, and I guess Two Trees also has some other properties on Atlantic. (Also, I know that One Brooklyn Bridge is also renting directly but that may be a bit removed).
Any other ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Berman Realty in Park Slope manages several buildings, if you are willing to go that far out.
I saw some reasonable no fee rentals from them -- including 1 elevator building on 8th and President. I found them to be straightforward and reasonable. Not sure if they will do an 8-9 month lease, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Also, you can try NY Bits from some leads:

Check out 200 Schermerhorn Street. You will deal directly with the building owners as I did. NO FEE and no bull$#@! like you will run into with Two Trees. We really enjoy living in this building. Good luck!

I actually own a two bedroom apt in an elevator building that I would like to rent for that length of time. If you are interested let me know and I can send you information. Its in Prospect Heights.
