Looking for: Plumber, Moving Co.
I'm moving soon, and would love any great recommendations for both a licensed plumber and a full service moving company. I'm replacing a bathtub in my new place in Clinton Hill. Thanks for any help you great Brownstoners could provide.

I suggest getting exact quotes from several plumbers and not letting anybody "charge you by the hour."

Aladdin Plumbing Corp is right there in Clinton Hill and are top notch plumbers. They did all the work at my house and I've known them for years:

For plumbers, I recommend John Hlad. He works a lot in the neighborhood and knows these houses. But I've heard good things about Aladdin and Gateway as well.

John Catania @ 718-541-4213. After MANY years of experience, John was always my 1st choice and every time I had to use someone else I ended up wishing John had been there. Besides, he's sort of slow right now.

I just hired Billy Taylor, whom I found on Brownstoner, and liked him. He redid a bunch of plumbing in my kitchen during my current renovation. 917.216.5835
