IT'S TIME TO PAR-TAY!!!
We Brownstoners just can’t pass up an excuse to get together and sip cold drinks, so it’s time to GET DOWN, GET FUNKY, GET LOOSE!
On October 15th beginning at 6:30pm, all Brownstoner contributors, readers, lurkers and posters are invited to come on out to Union Hall for a good ole time.
This time we will be celebrating Libra and Scorpio birthdays. And, as a special treat, we are hosting the First Annual Brownstoner Regulars’ Choice Awards. Pop into the Open Thread any day to find out the voting categories and how to vote for your favorite posters. We’ve got a special category for Brownstoner posters and lurkers we’d most like to meet. So many of you have made the list of nominations that we can’t even name you all here! Show up and let us see you in the flesh and raise our glasses to you :-)
Everyone is invited and those of you who have never joined us before are especially encouraged to come by for snacks, drinks and plenty of laughs.

Take the R/M train to Union Street (when you exit the train, walk up hill to 5th Ave.) or the B63 bus to Union Street and 5th Avenue.

Why is it always midweek? You know, some of us are married, which means we don't have anything good planned for the weekend.

Sorry rh! We usually do weekday evenings so folks with families have their weekends free for family time. But, we will take it under advisement to try a weekend shindig sometime. (We like to party a lot so have no fear, another party is likely right around the corner!) In the meantime, if you can make it on the 15th, even for just a little bit, we'd love to meet you :-)

I might be able to make this gathering, but I sure as hell wont be following the Open Threads, I don't have that kind of time, and frankly I don't know how you guys do it... ;)
