Energy Audits
And what's the average cost of the audit? (ConEd and National Grid don't seem to be doing them for free any more...) Has anyone used any of the contractors recommended on NYSERDA (the state energy research authority)? The Brooklyn list is at http://www.getenergysmart.org/Resources/FindPartner.aspx?t=4 . Or have their own recommendations for someone to do an energy audit?

I am currently using EME Group, which is on the NYSERDA website, for the light incentive program.
The cost is between $100 to $400. I forgot what it depends on.

I am in the process of a NYSERDA energy audit for a non-rpofit I'm on the board of. We are applying for the cost of the audit. I'm recalling from paperwork we submitted a figure of $30,000 for SOMETHING, I just can't recall what. It is a reimbursable expense from the state.
