Skylights?

Just took down a wall and discovered that we've got an enormous vent (something like 3' x 3') in the roof above our top floor bathroom. Would like to swap out ridiculous metal vent for a skylight--any recommendations as to where to get a skylight that works on a flat brownstone roof?

Thanks!

I have one that's been in for about 20 years - got it from Bklyn Windows & Doors (718) 946-3697
A neighbor of mine got hers there a few years ago too - they stock a lot of sizes & can also custom build.

I have done my due diligence on a company I had heard of on this site...Bullfrog Builders. They specialize in all aspects of residential/commercial construction. They are currently doing a deck job on my block (Park Pl). Their website is www.bullfrogny.com or they can be reached at 718-228-0199.I am just about to hire them for a kitchen/bath combo. Let me know if you go with them and good luck.

Velux. They are very well made come in clear or tinted (to reduce heat infiltration) and double glazed. They are also much cheaper than custom. Skip those crappy bent sheet metal and wire glass pyramid types.
Also available with a rain sensor and remote control if that interests you.
