Resurfacing Cast Iron Clawfoot
Any contractor recommendations to have my clawfoot tub resurfaced? It appears that it's about to rust out at the bottom and I guess it's time for me to pay attention to it. Thanks.

I was just at a place- just off Utica. I was actualy at the kitchen place on the corner 1900 something Utica Ave- but I noticed the business- you can see it from Utica- on the first block- and the store front awning advertises old tub/sink/etc resurfacing. Good Luck- sorry i don't have more info. If you go looking- watch for the kitchen/bath center going out of business- it is across the street.

Sorry to say if its rusted through to the point that there is little metal left a resurfacing won't work. Time to look for a replacement, antique or otherwise. Incidentally, having been in r.e. mgt. for many years the resurfacing available on the market is usually only good for a couple of years and generally not worth the money. My 2 cents.
