Repairing Frozen/Burst Pipes
Hi all,
Looking at a 4-story brownstone that has frozen pipes that have burst so water is turned off. Any idea what we would be looking at in terms of repairing the plumbing? Water damage is on first floor only. Not looking for info on repairing dry wall, etc, just the plumbing.
Master Plumber, can you help?
Thanks guys.

To clarify, I'm looking for cost estimates to make this repair.

I couldn't comment on pricing here, but I would be happy to come to the house and give you a free estimate.
Call anytime.

Typically, but not always, it's just one pipe that bursts, which may be a pretty simple, straightforward repair. yes, the one pipe will cause a lot of damage depending upon how long the water flows but usually one pipe bursting is enough to relieve all the pressure throughout the system.

Keep in mind that it may have been a heat pipe if the house has hot-water heating.
